My 5 favourite self-development blogs

posted in: List, Productivity | 0

I have talked about the importance of sharpening your axe aka your mind in my previous posts. One of them is called “How to build a productive mindset” where I talked about the ways I use to become the best version of myself. One of the points in that blog said that in order to become productive you should read inspiring and motivating content. So today I would love to share my top 5 blogs where I learn new things about different various areas of life. So let’s begin!

Zen Habits – Is a blog about finding simplicity and mindfulness in the daily chaos of our lives. It teaches about clearing the clutter  so that we could focus on what’s important, create something amazing and find happiness. The site is run by Leo Babauta who’s a father of six kids. The blog is really great if you want to learn more about mindfulness.

I Will Teach You To Be Rich – A personal finance blog ran by Ramit Sethi. He has been writing this blog for over 10 years and he teaches people how to make more money, find their dream job, start an online business and how to master your inner psychology. A lot of great stuff about productive lifestyle and many inspiring stories related to personal finances.

Tiny Buddha –  This portal is about reflecting on simple wisdom and learning new ways to apply it to our complex lives—complete with responsibilities, struggles, dreams, and relationships. Founded in 2009, Tiny Buddha has emerged as a leading resource for peace and happiness, with close to three million monthly readers. They write posts about happiness, motivation, inspiration, love, relationships, meaning, possibilities, mindfulness, yoga, spirituality, simplicity and everything else that is related.

James Clear – This weekly blog is all about behavioural psychology, habit formation and performance improvement. All of the Jame’s stuff is very neatly laid out and easy to understand. That is the reason why he has been covered by various big magazines such as TIME, Forbes, Entrepreneur and many more. With 700,000 people reading his articles every month, he has clearly got some wisdom to share.

The Minimalist – This one is very different from all of the above. The guys who run this have their own podcast, blog and even a film about this thing called Minimalism. I like them a lot because they share various techniques on how to do more with less. Minimalists don’t focus on having less; rather, they focus on making room for more: more time, more passion, more experiences, more growth, more contribution, more contentment.

I hope you will find these as useful as I do, but remember this is just my list which I wanted to share with you! I know that there are thousands of other blogs out there. Sharing is caring, so feel free to share your favourite self-development blogs in the comment section below!

Thanks for reading.
